Re:What music hits the right note?
Please don't tell me you're a David Cassidy fan - and Barry Manilow too?
You need some heavy rock in your life, Malcolm!

Re:What music hits the right note?
My collection does boast those two, but I've got CDs ranging from Ozric Tentacles, Steve Hillage, Van Halen, Bon Jovi, Vangelis, Enigma, Osmonds, Frank Sinatra, Donna Summer, Westlife, Pink Floyd, Beach Boys, Four Seasons, Good Charlotte, Snow Patrol, Backstreet Boys to name but a few.
Genres don't interest me.
Good music does as do different types. One day I'm in a rock mood, the next an ambient chillout and then a 70s glam rock mood the next.0 -

Same here - I don't have a certain type of music I like - it all depends on the song/band.
I've got a very eclectic CD collection!0 -

Losing my cred a bit here, but I must admit that I have these two songs on my MP3 player! I especially love the (Bach?) piano intro to "Could It Be Magic". Detest the Take That version of this plus Celine's version of "All By Myself" though!
If we're talking diversity, I have "Lord Abortion" by Cradle of Filth sitting happily alongside new Madonna on my MP3 player! There's even Atomic Kitten and Girls Aloud on there!
