Hello Everyone

I am hoping to take both Tax exams in June. Is there anyone out there who would like an (email) study buddy?

    I'm hoping to do PTC - but not starting it until later in the year. I'm doing DFS at the moment.

    I'm studying BTC & PTC on my own because my classmates don't want to take any more exams than they have to! :roll: I have only really started BTC up to chapter 2, so after I've done cash management I'm going to get right onto it.

    Hi ya

    I am doing BTC and PTC in June too... I have started on BTC too and I got up to chapter 13, however, there is so much to remember and so many exception, I am struggling a bit. How are you finding it?

    I know, loads of people I know went for the easy option of no more exams... but I am going to do ACCA afterwards so I will have to do tax.

    Have you started/done your project yet?

    Hello Manuela

    No, havent started project yet.
    Just got my first homework back for personal tax and did really rubbish. I like tax but cannot seem to get it right!
    So I think I will concentrate on just one for the moment and business tax can be done later. Then just the project (thats if I have passed DFS)
    As home learning, not so much pressure to take lots of exams in one go.

    Hi Manuela,
    I am going on to ACCA next aswell, so really wanted to give myself a heads up before I started it.
    The first 2 chapters seem ok, but that is just the beginning.
    Yes I have finished my project and I have handed it in to my tutor for him to look over. Fingers crossed it will be ok.
