Re:Study Buddy
ah good one! hmmm . . .Brain surgery on yourself? not such a good idea methinks!

Re:Study BuddyQuand j'ΓΒ©tais petit, j'ai voulu ΓΒͺtre un pilote de sorte que j'aie pu ΓΒ©crire mon nom dans le ciel.
That means "when I was little, I wanted to be a pilot so that I could write my name in the sky". It doesn't come up very often in conversation, but it helped me get an A at GCSE. And its true, I did want to be a pilot. Unfortunately I am very hard of hearing (totally deaf in left ear, unusually narrow range of pitches in the right), so I can't be a pilot, soldier, police officer or many other things. Not that I'd want to, but still...0 -
Re:Study Buddy
wow! no wonder i only got a C lol!
I was predicted an A for French but when others can talk like that then i see why i didnt get it!

Re:Study Buddy
You're too kind Rachael. I did need to use Google translate just then to remind myself how to do the 'so that i could' part- it was nearly eight years ago that I actually did the exam!
Languages are an interest of mine, and I actually preferred German to French- English is a Germanic language, after all. Between the migration of Angles, Saxons and other Germanic tribes, and the Viking attacks leading to the Danelaw, English is still very closely related to its Germanic past. French words are mainly a result of the Norman and Anglo-Norman nobility of the late eleventh and early twelfth century.
I only got a B in GCSE German, but one day I hope to improve my German to the point where I can run a business catering to the LARP market in both Germany and England. In case you're wondering, 'chartered accountant' in German is 'Wirtschaftsprufer'.0 -

Re:Study Buddy
Lets have a bit of woodwork then huh?... Joints... which is the strongest.
I mean Dowel Joints etc!!!
I was trying to dismantle a 3 piece wardrobe and ended up ripping the middle section out rather than take it apart because the friggin dowels were too good at holding it together!0 -
Re:Study Buddy
