    Well in my camp, experience and common sense is a better snapshot than results.

    Even when I was at school, I could never understand why people are judged by sitting in a room for 3 hours answering questions. It's not a natural environment for one thing and even if you are normally super-cool, the slightest thing during those 3 hours can seriously stress you and affect your performance.

    Not something which I would greatly advise, but being under the influence of alcohol whilst taking exams can be quite beneficial.
    I was very merry in most exams and managed to pass all of them with an A, 6 Bs 2 Cs and a D (Ironically the D subject I took as an Advanced Computing Course).

    Alcohol to the rescue!

    On a related note, I have written some of my best essays etc while deep in my cups. I wouldn't do it for an exam, that's just silly. Jamie, please tell us you didn't drink for your driving test!

    That I didn't do - although I did go to a party and got in @ 3am. 9am i heard a BEEP BEEP - it was the instructor... i managed to get dressed and eat some toothpaste in about 60 seconds flat. On my return he said that was the best lesson I had done.
    I passed the test a couple weeks later with only 4 minors... and not one drop of the devils juice in me :-)

    was a bit hectic- lots of people, lots of pure magic tobacco and lots of alcohol.
    was ready for leaving at 3 on friday but didn't get away until half 5, got into Glasgow at half 9ish after a stop to change baby's bum!
