Am I the only person who hasn't received their email yet?? I haven't even received the blank email that everyone else got. I have phoned the "Helpdesk" and they tell me that I was def on the list to receive emails. I asked if it could be resent and they said I would have to wait til tomorrow to view online. Glad I bothered to waste my time registering for it!! Getting really fed up with AAT now!!! :evil:

    Hiya,

    I'm in the same boat if it's any consolation. I doubt I'm getting mine until midnight now which is rubbish as I'm supposed to be going out to celebrate/ drown my sorrows tonight. Feels a bit like an anti-climax. :?

    Hello,
    If you're using your work email it's worth checking with your IT department that your results, which were sent from aatexamresult@emc1.co.uk, haven't been held back by your company's firewall. If using your private email address do check your spam folder.

    The results emails were sent at 1am this morning (some of these appeared blank) and again at 9.30am. Some of these arrived almost instantaneously but some will take longer.

    If you still haven't received your email by midnight tonight then do check the website for them - incidentally, and for anyone else reading this, you don't need a MyAAT account, just your student membership (registration) number.

    Def no email, not in spam, junk or anywhere else. I don't see why the helpdesk can't tell the few people who still haven't had their email their results over the phone. It's not our fault their system fell down and we all have to suffer!

    Me too - set up my filters correctly and still no email. Have emailed the administrator but just told they recevied no bounceback so the problem must be my end. But i know it isnt!
    This is their problem, they should be able to tell us or re-send the email, its not fair when we've been waiting 12weeks.

    Just been told by AAT to check my inbox has enough room (am currently using 2.3% capacity so no probs there) and that my email is definately .com and not .co.uk - only has my email address 6 years so i knew i had put the correct one! So no further ideas from their end, just have to wait.

    Although the one think they wont look into is the possibility its a problem THEIR end.

    I can't believe they won't tell us. They can only be a few of us they have messed up on. I have emailed student services but prob won't get an answer til tomorrow!

    I emailed student services at 11am - nearly 5 hours ago, and have had no reply. They really dont care how were feeling! 12 weeks of waiting, getting worked up about today and then they mess up but still try to make out its our fault??!

    I just received an automated response from AAT (surely that proves that my email works??) saying that they will respond within 10 days. Nice and prompt I see. Is there a manager there we can speak to or something. Our names are on the list to prove we registered for email. If we confirm our member number, name, DOB and address surely they can tell us over the phone?

    I've had nothing yet either, I changed my e mail address yesterday (and registered the new one at the same time) and so had wondered if they had sent it to the old one that I can't access.

    But having read that there are others in the same boat I'm not so sure.

    I've logged into my e mails every half hour for the last few hours in hope

    I guess I'll give in and worry for another 8 hours. Anyone take bets on the website not working at midnight due to too many hits?

    The same thing happened to me last time (Aug 06). I never got a reply from the help desk and my email address was correct and there was nothing in Spam and I had loads of memory left on my drive. I had to wait until the following day. This is no help to students that have had to wait such a long time to get results as we're all anxious so that we can make plans to either move on or re-sit. Last time I checked mine at 5AM as the site gets so busy during normal hours.
    I received my email this time but going forward AAT need to deliver what they have promised.

    I emailed my college tutor to see if he knew if i'd passed or not and i have but its still not good enough that i haven't received the email yet.

    I went through the same thing last year. But as midnight got nearer, I just accepted it and waited.

    There's a note on the home page about this and how the AAT are looking at the problem with the company they used to send out the emails.

    But to be honest, they acted on behalf of the AAT and the buck has to stop with the AAT. The system should have been checked.

    It happen to me last year to, so this year i copied and pasted the aat email address into my address book so that it would be recognised and not go into the trash, dont know if it was this that worked but after recieveing a blank email, the result came in a 9.15am this morning.     I set up my filters so the addres was recognised - this wasnt the problem. I got a standard reply email today fromstudent services sayuing they know they sen t blank emails but i should have then received a 2nd one - they dont seem to understand i NEVER RECEIVED ANY EMAIL!! BLank or otherwise! So i have sent a very angry email back asking them to actually take responsiblity for the problem adn fix it for next year, if they cant provide the same service to everyone who signs up for it then it shouldnt be available at all.

    Hi,

    Yeah i logged on line on Wednesday morning and i Passed PCR which im really happy about but failed PCT - i kind of expected that though so wasnt too upset, just nmeans a resit in June! Just please i got another exam over with! :D
