it depends on what line of work you are in. i work in an accountancy practise so personal tax and business tax is ideal in what i do daily.

    hope this helps :D

I chose Audit Procedures, DFS, Personal Tax - plus PEV & PCR

I work as a company secretary and chose audit because I had past knowledge of it, DFS because I produce the financial statements and personal tax because of my payroll and taxation experience.

That's exactly what I did! Although the college made us do Auditing, which helped as I couldn't work out BTC.

    Hi,

I've had a stab at nearly all of them! Different colleges after a house move meant I had to!

I found audit & cash management were definately the easy route to passing but the Business Tax, although hard was my most interesting subject. I can't comment on personal tax but I plan on taking that in June since I enjoyed business tax so much

    Hi

I found business tax and personal tax interesting. I also did Cash Management before deciding I was going to sit both tax papers, so the only unit I've not done is auditing. I was told it was pretty good but then again it depends on what you are interested in and what line of work you are doing/want to do.

hi, i'm after some advice on DFS and BTC. i have these 2 units to complete for june exams but haven't started the syllabus yet, would anyone who has completed these units give me some advice as to whether 4 months will be enough time to study these 2 units?

it really depends on how much time you have to devote to studying, do u have any DFS background? If you are not working i would defo go for it, but if you are it might be a struggle unles you have background to back it up.
    hope this helps chick

Although PTC and BTC mean two more exams you'll most likely find them more interesting and will find them quite easy. Although I had to sit 5 exams last summer I'm glad as the papers were straight forward.

Once you've had Tax, you never go back
