additional sage training

hi im looking for some additional sage training, i have competed a sage course but have found this inadequate and expensive, i understand most of it, ive given up with the helpline due to the waiting time, do any of you know who could offer some training on a one 2 one basis, i think a half day would probably be enough.

    I too have been looking for increasing my knowledge of Sage, having picked up a copy of instant v12 as a trial with the software. I did get a very useful CD from http://www.helpwithsage.co.uk - they offer a demo trial on-line for free and it costs £10 if you decide to buy and there is a discussion forum on their website for any questions which get answered promptly. It refreshed my memory quite well.

    I am based in Salisbury - if you are offering additional training locally I too would be interested in a half day top up one-2-one or within a small group. What sort of fees were you envisaging?

    I'm would also be very interested as I have just completed the Learn Direct sage course,and thought it was very basic, as doesn't include the year end proceedures. :!:

    Hi, I have had 20+ years of Payroll/Accounts and have been recently teaching at local colleges. I currently run my own accounting firm and have thought of offering a training course in both Sage Line 50 and Sage Payroll. Finding the clients is the difficult part, not gone into it so far in depth, how far would you travel to a course and how detailed a course would you need?

    I understand some sage,and know theres more to learn, i would love the opportunity to gain more knowledge,but what is the cost attached to this, as i have already paid a considerable sum, for not a lot of benefit.

    Hi, Not sure what a pm is, unless you mean private message, anyway I have not set up any courses yet, It was something I was thinking about as an extra string to my bow. A colleague taught Sage Accounts at college also but she is now retired so I am not sure if I would like to do this alone or source another person to assist with courses. I live in Barrow in Furness, Cumbria. I was considering renting out a computer suite and advertising courses. I have not looked into this in detail yet, it is still in the idea stage. I considered something like a 2 day course or similar. Obviously if you have basic Sage training then it would be the full detailed course you would need for year end etc. Are you talking about payroll or accounts? :D

    I have been using sage line 50 accounts for over 20 years and for the past 5 years have been training staff and clients. I am based near Bournemouth and would be happy to help with sage training on a one 2 one basis perhaps on a Saturday morning. Let me know if I can be of assistance.
