    Re:what next?

ACCA courses can be done via distance learning, but I tend to advise those planning to go on to ACCA/ICAEW or other chartered courses to think about their personal discipline when it comes to home study.

AAT gives you excellent grounding to progress onto further professional exams. However, the chartered qualifications are much more intense as they go along their syllabi and do "crank up" the pressure. When I did ACCA I started off distance learning, but soon found I couldn't handle the discipline that is required. However, that was me, you may be totally different - there are people that go through the whole syllabus studying by distance learning.

ultimately, it is up to you and how you feel you could handle working on your own whilst fulfilling the requirements to pass the exams. I would advise you to look at the syllabus ACCA has to offer, look at the past exams for the papers you want to sit and the pilot papers for the future papers and also the syllabus that has been written for each paper. Then consider ALL the learning routes and then decide which one would be best for you.

    Kind regards
    Steve
