I live in Kent, and when there is a concert or a gig usually end up travelling to Brixton, Hammersmith, or sometimes Southampton as there are not many big venues nearby that the bands will visit.
I was wondering where everyone else has to travel to, and if its longer than the 2 hours i have to travel.
Obviously living in Birmingham or Manchester or even London is convenient for concert goers

Re:Major Cities
I am lucky and live in London. I love not having to sprint away from a venue to get the last standing space onthe last train home. I used to have to do that, though.0 -

Re:Major Cities
Ashbean, I live in the same town as you, well if you count Kemsley of course, so I share those frustrations. I have been to Brighton for gigs but that is also a 2 hour trip away in the car.
The 02 venue (aka The Dome) is supposed to be a venue in the future and at least that's on our side of London.0 -

I hate WWE and i know what you are talking about! although i thought the rock was more into making movies now? 5 years of being made to watch it at weekends by my brother! i mean how many times do you have to watch the same guys 'beating' each other up before you know what is going to happen?! :evil:0 -
Re:Major Cities
We were that enthusiastic about it when we were 14 - 16 that we arranged our very own wrestling foundation and made our own belts from cardboard boxes, marker pens and gold glitter!!!
We held cage fights in a 5 a side football pitch (cage 20ft high) of which I broke an ankle and others broke other bones...
We used the metal inserts from street bins as the bins they use in WWE and we held our own 'No Way Out' match on a railway embankment.. the first to reach the top of the 50+ degree angle hill was declared the champion, more broken bones and ligament damage.
Still, 'twas all worth it, after all, I was the YBWF Champion for a short while and a tag team champion too! :oops:0 -

I am really lucky. I live in Wembley. Not only have we lost all the parking in our street, if you lean out of my bedroom window at a precarious angle you can see the monstrious arch!!! Horrible Stadium!!!! :evil:0 -
