Well, I know I'm a bit bossy at times, but not really into spanking anyone!
Sorry guys - keep your fantasies to yourself!0 -
Re:Study Buddy
Probably Helen, but I was trying to delay payment.
BT Internet will happily let me absorb our current outstanding Broadband bill into a new Direct Debit instruction, whereas BT Telephone Services say the old bill has to be paid first before a new Direct Debit instruction can be set up. I wanted to speak to a human - if such a thing exists at BT these days.
The two companies don't even have matching policies FFS. No wonder they're losing so many customers and have to resort to fabricating their retention/welcome-back figures.

Totally agree with the BT thing! I shot them off and went with Ntl - now Virgin Media - who, after phoning them, took less than 3 minutes to answer.

Well done to both Rae!
I'm not sure which is the harder task, AAT or finding a decent power supplier!!!
My leccy bill has increased over 100%, but my modest little house has not increased in size to a four storey mansion ( I wish!)0 -

Re:Study Buddy
Rob, i'm still seething from it fella - I was told on Friday night that someone would phone me Saturday morning to tell me it was done.. nobody did- was told when I phoned trhem back on Saturday early evening that someone would phone me this monring to tell me it was done - still waiting.... I can't go to their web site because they are updating it (and have been for at least 8 months)...
British Gas are so crap, they carried on charging me for my previous address for where I sold AND my new address I moved to... 4 times later on the phone they decided to stop supplying the other house and chargin me for it!
We thought it was strange that we owed something like ΓΒ£400 for a quarter on Gas yet were in credit with electricity?... thats when we phoned them 1st time and they said yes we have 2 addreses for you!!!
I sent them a really nasty complaint - really nasty - I almost came close to threatning them with a bomb when all their staff were locked inside! But them I thought 'naaahh' i'd rather kill them face to face!0 -

Sometimes, you have to say to yourself:
"Just because I can, doesn't mean I should".
