Re:Study BuddyWindows 3.1
I so hated that.
You couldn't have a filename bigger than 8 characters! The mouse was the size of a modern PC Base unit when that version was running...still - lot more reliable - I didn't experience any crashes with that at school
Ah, bless!
My old computer runs Windows 3.11 and is still going strong. I bought it in '94 and kept it in my room for homework even after we had a better 'family' PC. I gave it to my granddad a few years ago and he still uses it- mainly for MS Word & Excel (writing letters complaining about TV and 'kids these days' for the most part).0 -

Re:Study Buddy
I just had a Tesco healthy living tuna salad for lunch (dinnertime being several hours away down here) and felt it unusually satisfying for a 'healthy' meal. It really filled me up and was only 300 cals per serving.
It was only after I finished it that I saw it said "4 servings per pack". :oops:0 -

Re:Study Buddy
Righto, am off to buy some trays then if I can get away with a week!

Re:Study Buddy
Steal a friends trays, this way, you can save yourself a week buy putting your work in trays and you can help your friends delay too as they can say someone took their trays and now they are unorganised and have no confidence....0 -
Re:Study BuddyRighto, am off to buy some trays then if I can get away with a week!
Absurd as this may sound, I have been explicitly banned from ordering more 'to do' trays because "there should never be enough work outstanding to do to warrant one". So I have piles on top of piles, but no trays!!0 -

Re:Study Buddy
Glad I'm no the only one who stuffs things in trays and thinks 'later'.
Sad thing is, occassionally I do that with papers in my desk and I think about 7 days later 'Where the f**k is it?' and I find it when I do the monthly sort out of my desk and trays
Note to self : Must use task manager on Outlook0 -

Re:Study Buddy
Maybe there are some true facts in there about the dangers but the way the articles are written, I happen to hold my understanding of literacy quite highly and I can tell when an article is portraying the feelings of the author at the moment of writing rather than the actual truth of the written facts.
I do feel the erticles are true factually, but they are over-emphasised as though the author is demanding you to listen to the dangers rather than allowing you to make your own mind...0
