Re:Friday !
It's finally here! Can't believe how long this week has been.
Because the weather has been kind this week the washing basket is vitually empty (unless the rest is under the kids beds!) and I'm not studying at the moment so think I will just chill out with several good bottles of wine (you know ΓΒ£2.99 stuff) and a good book.
Can't wait.0 -
Re:Friday !
Well, today is Red Nose Day in our office and I'm ripping into the City fans cos they're all wearing red!! YEEAAHHH, Come on United!
So we're all doing little things and donating here and there and generally having a good laugh - drinks tonight in the boardroom then home.
Got to putt he curtains up this weekend so I'm thinking i'll do that tonight, I need to gloss the rail plinth and stick it to the wall with good old NO-NAILS.
Once those are up, the room is complete and so is the whole of the upstairs :-) Sarah decided that is not it though and asked whether we should start on the lounge/diner... so, if anyone would like to buy a 2.5 year old pristine condition sky blue Italian Leather 3-piece suite... let me know! Christ almighty, once we finish THIS room, she'll be ready to start the upstairs again!0 -
Re:Friday !
Hoping it is sunny tomorrow, but I just heard that it is meant to snow again next week  Just thought I'd got the last out of my coat this year. Any good films at the cinema at the moment?0 -
Re:Friday !
Premonition came out today, Sandra Bullock - I'll go out on a whim here and risk ridicule but I think she's great, i;ve seen the majority of films she's in - I think she can play almost any character.
I want to see it.0 -
Re:Friday !
Since it's Friday afternoon, it must be the prime time for silliness...?
... so head off to the Windows Control Panel, click on Speech, type in your text and get the robot man to speak the vilest things you can possibly think of...!
It's great!

Re:Friday !
I did that at school once. And it was a blatent reference to the teacher. Consequently, that was my last ever business studies lesson. :shock:0 -
Re:Friday !

Do you have to have M/S Sam or are there any others instead?????

Re:Friday !
sometimes when i'm feling really lazy, I talk to the computer and it types my letters for me :-)0 -
Re:Friday !
What system do you use? My husband used Dragonsoft for all his dictating. It is mainly brilliant, as long as you say things in the right accent - garige not garage and Glasgow not Glars-gow. The only downside to it, is that it has conflicts with every other piece of software known to man, and makes his computer crash far too often!

Re:Friday !
There's places you can get patches for it from, to download different dialiects.
Microsoft have created another speech program, with more voices which I downloaded from somewhere on the net - that's class, alter the speed, the pitch, the background, the person - I've never heard anyone say they want to ****** me so many different ways

Dunno, but I think I'd like to have a mad Geordie or Aussie as my most wanted accents though!
Least wanted; Brummie and scouse accents! :?
(Think I'd better hide...)

Re:Friday !
Although I dislike the Scouse people (football reasons and such) I think Male scouse accents are terrible.... but there's something about women with a scouse accent, not to braod - but there's this one woman at work and she isn't what some would call a 'Daniels Axiak' but the voice, the accent, the filth..... oh that pushes her up the list a little..
My all time favourite accents for a girl are
1. Irish
2. Scottish (Edinburgh.. Just so soft and sexy)
3. Maltese

Robert
You cant beat the Aussie accent! The Aussie accent doesnt last long here, I blame everyone round me for me loosing mine
Mine got replaced with Southern english accent. Hence I get called a Pom when I speak to friends back in Aus  :P
My old accent only comes out when I get pissed off at something. :twisted:0 -

Pervert!
I have to admit I like the Aberdeen accent on a girl, also some of the softer Northeast England ones. Some American actresses from the south- Texas/Georgia sound good: BeyoncΓΒ© Knowles, RenΓΒ©e Zellweger, Anna Faris et alia. And I like Kimberley Walsh off of Girls Aloud- she sounds nice- where's she from?0 -
Re:Friday !
