Hi Hopesome can help me,
I am working on Ramsay Wood Products, and on one of the Depreciation questions, it mentions Workshop Equipment 25% per annum on net book value (reducing balance basis) , on the T accounts that are given it mentions the the workshop equipment cost opening balance is £17228.00, and the amount that is the opening balance on workshop equipment accumulated depreciation is £10400.79.
Would i just do the following:-
£17228.00-£10400.79= £6827.21 * 25% = £1706.80.

Hi Zetty.
Yes, if you only have one year's depreciation.
