    Looking at a house in Sinfin, Derby. Wondered what the area was like :shock: May be moving to Nottingham or Derby later in the year.

    Sinfin is not a good area as far as I'm aware. Lots of copuncil and ex-council house areas, which is the type of place I live now.
    A good indication if the area is good, is if house prices are high, anything less than £95000 - £100,000 for a 2 up 2 down is generally not a good place. We moved to the outskirts of Nottingham City Centre 5 years ago, having both of us, come from a village location on the Derbys/Notts border, and we are now looking to move to Canada, we are so disheartened with the way this country is going, and the rising cost of living. You don't get much bang for your buck as they say. So I'm more than happy to give out info. Running out of time, just finished my lunch.
