Hello All
I have recently been for an interview for the role below , I have done the first interview , going for the second next week , but after the first , i got the impression that it was more of a job for somone who had finished aat and ready to start cima . what do people think from the discription , would it be a good job to do along side technician AAT , i am currently doing uinit 8+9
Thanks

Working to challenging deadlines the role requires good numerical skills and the ability to handle product and material information in a timely and efficient manner to ensure accuracy of our complex bills of material. There will also be an element of ad-hoc and project work.
The position will involve working with other teams, including R&D, Purchasing and Production so the role would suit an outgoing person with strong communication skills and an analytical mind.
You must be proficient using excel and ideally will already be able to demonstrate experience of working with bills of material of job costing though this is not essential.

Re:Job Help
Sounds to me like you will get a lot of 'on the job' training. I would imagine that you would not have been succesful in getting a second interview if they were looking for someone ready to start CIMA, besides which, I believe the technician level makes you exempt from the first year of CIMA, so you'd be pretty much on level pegging with a first year CIMA student. I think your study for 8 & 9 would complement the role.0 -
Re:Job Help
The job description sounds exactly like the opening scenario of a PEV/PCR exam!
Sounds ideal for an AAT technician.
