From Public Service to Private Sector

Hi All
I have recently accepted a new job in industry as an assistant cost accountant , My current job is as a finance assistant , will there be much of a difference and is it a big difference ?
Anyones views would be helpful

    Congratulation at first
    From finance assistant to Assistant Const Accountant sounds a good move.
    You might have to do costing and management accounting ( depends what's on the job spec)
    As long as the salary, the job spec. and the organisation is fine you can take it .
    You can look at some salary survey reports to find if the salary reflects the current market rate for this type of job.
