Re:Study Buddy
But Farmer G, don't you have to fill in a timesheet?
I used to hate doing that. Every minute accounted for.

Re:Study Buddy
no, we work on fixed fees so it doesn't matter how long a job takes. Some flat rate vat only take 30 mins to do and then rollover to the year end. As long as everything is done on time I'm pretty much my own boss. I do some times feel like "billy no mates" sitting in this big office all on my own, but I do have you two(sorry, three(almost forgot Rae)) gorgeous ladies to keep me company.

Re:Study Buddy

Re:Study Buddy
I feel like going to the countryside, sitting on a field, drinking a bottle of whatever and eating a huge KFC, I want to laugh until I cry, then go to sleep for about 3 days. Fancy that FG??
I work in an office with about 150 other people and I still AM billy no mates!!!!! :roll:0 -

Hi FG,
I haven't been feeling miserable. Everything that could go wrong this morning has done, but we all bounce back don't we?

I'll have to be boring and miserable I'm afraid this afternoon - have 3 client year-ends on at the moment all of which can only be described as "technically challenging" aka a pain in the (well you know!)

Re:Study Buddy
Hi all,
I just caught a glimpse of the current favourite candidate to replace me- the third interview of the day and I wasn't in yesterday so don't know how many they've had. I only handed my notice in on Friday. (I'm leaving in 4 weeks) He's much younger and better looking than I am... but I think they're moving too fast. You shouldn't pick up staff on the rebound.

Wow, thanks for that. And I thought I was pessimistic. To be honest, I really do think they're panicking. I've been here doing the basic stuff very well for nearly three years, and that's a surprisingly difficult thing to replicate.
I would have thought they'd suspect me of only sticking around to the end of the AAT course- and leaving to find somewhere with better work (and more money).
*sigh* I think I've got a long and painful last few weeks to look forward to.
[sings]I was looking for a job, and then I found a job, and Heaven knows I'm miserable now.[/sings]0 -
Re:Study Buddy
Sorry - I was trying to be a little...not sure!
I shouldn't worry about what they're upto. You've got your plan, and a very cunning one it is too!
