Re:Study BuddySorry - I was trying to be a little...not sure!
That's OK, its very hard to judge tone sometimes. I didn't think it was meant that seriously anyway.
I'm not sure I have all that cunning a plan, really. Quitting your job when you don't have another one is never going to be easy, even if it is for full-time education reasons.
Nonetheless, I am reminded of the old joke:
A University is a fountain of knowledge where students go to drink.

I know. I'll have to start finding myself a decent pub in Norwich- it took me a while when I was up in York. On the plus side my gentle home counties accent won't sound as out of place as it did in Yorkshire. On the minus side, I miss the Ackhorne's combination of broad selection of unusual drinks and comfortable seats. (and/or the Hansome Cab's prices- ΓΒ£1.18/pint for a pub in the city centre)
Anyone know a pub that does mead in Norwich?
(I hope I don't have to tell you that mead is a type of alchoholic drink made from honey. Usually bottled up like wine and sold by the glass in pubs.)0 -

Morning gang!

Re:Study Buddy
Morning. Is it only Wednesday? I had a dream last night I was made redundant :?0 -
Re:Study Buddy
Oooh! That is so easy to analise.
You're not happy at work but you know deep down that you have to stay - at least for the time being.
However, even deeper down, you're really unhappy so wish that some other factor would come into the equation to take the decision out of your hands.

That's me summed up in a couple of lines

Re:Study Buddy
OK - your turn. Last night I had a dream about J eating chocolate bars.
Then Blobby stormed in and took them away. At the same moment, Steve came out of the bathroom with half a leg waxed.
I went for a run.0 -

Morning All!0 -
Re:Study Buddy
Morning!
RaeRae - were you in the bathroom with Steve, or was he on his own?

Re:Study Buddy
Morning RaeRae.
Ok H, J is obviously the fantasy part with the chocolate
, blobby is the masterful, dominating part 8) , Steve is the deep dark hidden part  , going for the run brings you back to normality  0 -
Re:Study Buddy
But why do they all speak with a really strong Brummie accent?
And why were they wearing pink tutus?0 -
Re:Study Buddy
I think YOU need to explain that one!!!0 -
Re:Study Buddy
Probably best forgotten!

Re:Study Buddy
No, I think you need to explain the accents and tutu's. I might pick up some tips.

Re:Study Buddy
Well, the pinks were all different shades. I suppose Robert's was almost lilac.
Steve's was a little too big - if you know what I mean!
J seemed to be the only one eating - but that didn't seem to worry anyone. In fact, I wasn't bothered either.
Steve came out of the bathroom and asked "Has someone been messing with me wax?"
The others ignored him, so he asked again and then pointed to a hairy piece of cloth. I think he was trying to figure out who's hair it was.
Then I went for a run.0 -
Re:Study Buddy
That piece of cloth couldn't have been farmergiles then?0 -
Re:Study Buddy
WOW! I never thought of that!
Yes - I think you might be right. I was thinking it could have been Chris. But he was in the corner with his lappy.
I don't think he was actually wearing anything and his legs (if I remember correctly) were still hairy.0 -
Re:Study Buddy
OK, was any of them tangible in this dream???0 -
Re:Study Buddy
There was touching - but I don't think this is the place to reveal too much more!
Steve must work-out in a gym.

Re:Study Buddy
So the big questions are :
1. What was their IAS 33?
2. Was there any IAS 36?
3. Did you come across any IAS 38's?0 -
Re:Study Buddy
If IAS =
Immense Abs Steve - then yes!0 -
Re:Study Buddy
Morning, Mandy, looking a little "ruff" today.
Are you feeling more cheerful than yesterday?
and no, I wasn,t involved in H's dream, it wasn't my hair

Re:Study Buddy
Hi FG,
I'm looking more than a little ruff, it's a rather large ruff. That's my big cuddly girl! Yes, I feel better thanks, it's one more day nearer friday and you will probably get a starring role in H's dream next time round
