Was just reading through posting on here and now im slightly confused on the unit 5 exam?

I thought there was just the on exam on 20 June and that was it??

Is there a simulation that needs to be done aswel??! :?

    Kind of. Unit 5 is assessed by exam and coursework- as in Simulation. When I did it last year, I treated the Sim as revision for the exam proper. Or you could collect work-based evidence, I suppose.

    If you are doing the diploma route then you just take the exam. If you are doing the nvq route then you must take the exam and simulation.

    I'm taking the diploma route so only have the exam.. not sure if that lucky or not! :roll:

    Well its exactly the same exam. Diploma and NVQ students all sit the FRA paper together. You'll be doing the same things at the same time as the NVQ Pathway students. But you won't have to do a simulation.

    So I think that puts things slightly in your favour! (I'm sure the Diploma route makes up for it elsewhere)
