Hi

just looking at the unit 1 simulation in the osbourne book

in the cash receipts book it has a column for cash and another one for bank.

do you put the cheques that you receieve in the cash column, and is the bank column for bacs payments??

    If I remeber correctly from my first year the cash is for cash sales and bank for all credit sales

    Any cheques you receive should go in the bank column. Bacs payments also go in bank column. Best way to remember is that only cash received or paid goes in the cash column.
