What is Lotus 1 2 3? I have been asked to look at some accounts help on this system and not sure what I am going to look at. Does anyone know this software? (The previous accountant has died so I can't ask him!)>

    It's just a speadsheet - nothing to worry about! you'll probably be able to convert it to excel without too many problems

    My first ever employers used Lotus and I still type @sum(.. when doing calculations in Excel and I havn't touched Lotus for over 10 years!

    yeah, my first 'proper' job used it too - it took me years to remember to type = into excel when adding two numbers together!

    Luckily Excel still calculates fine using @..!

    Oh Yes I remember
    Lotus 123 - and not a mouse or a window in sight!!
    Come to think of it - just one computer called "the Micro" lurking in the corner to be shared by half a dozen staff.

    Am I showing my age?
