Unit 7 Simulation

Can anyone tell me what a basic trend is? I did my Unit 7 simulation last week and wasn't sure of that answer?

    From the textbook:
    The basic trend refers to the general direction in which the graph of time series appears to be going over a long interval of time.

    Or did you need to know what the basic trend was on that particular simulation?


    In addition want to ask people who done unit 7 already , and especialy people who have problems with puting their thoughts on the paper. Is it hard?:)

    Thanks for that, the simulation wasn't that hard, but our lecturer didn't teach us anything, I am just glad that is that bit over now, I am not looking forward to the rest of the simulations.

    Our simulation was not bad either.

    Prior to it we had one and a half days tutoring and then an afternoon of revision questions. Our tutor was more interested in getting us through Units 5 & 6.

    Now its exam revision time. sigh
