Re:Study Buddy
Well guys, thanks for another entertaining day.
If I click my mouse and you disappear, do you go forever?
Is it like a tree falling in the wood and no-one is there - does it still make a sound?
One click of the mouse...0 -
Re:Study Buddy
I feel the power of the press coming on...
Grrr...
Girl Power! (You'll need to keep the avatar, Helen)

Re:Study Buddy
Do you think it suits me?
I think it makes me appear powerful - not the meek little woman that I really am...
That's the point of these forums - no-one is really who they say they are. Am I even a girl?...!0 -
Re:Study Buddy
Am I really a farmer?
don't you just love powerful, domineering women :oops:0 -
Re:Study Buddy
Hi FG. How are you?
Nearly home time, eh?
Actually, I'm quite partial to the older woman, myself...
I don't like wax, but
... I do feel like a red-head.0 -
Re:Study Buddy
Well, you're in luck. One of the boys does the waxing...

I thought that was Raerae's area of expertise? :?0 -
Re:Study Buddy
RaeRae is the tweezer gal!
Waxing is for the guys - it needs a firm hand.

Re:Study Buddy
Half of one?
Top or bottom?
Ah ha!... so you have a window in your barns! or are they working inside?
(Mandy likes windows...)
I think I've seen Rae in the flesh (December in Leeds), but I still don't like wax...
or tweezers!

Re:Study Buddy
No-one likes the waxing - except Steve (Peugeot).
He actually asks for it again and again.
Shame really, cos it's making his once beautiful skin all dry and 'manly'.
Mandy's been round with the body lotion a couple of times, so hopefully it will be OK.

Why the sad face? I thought you shared everything?

Mandy's hands and body lotion, the things dreams are made of. Not quite as good as the domineering touch of H, though :oops:0 -

Re:Study Buddy
Ok Guys let's stop this now before it gets out of hand.
Everybody here is adult enough to express their opinions in a reasonable manner. This does not mean making private messages publicly available or having a public slanging match on the forums.
Robert I know you have certain reservations about what gets posted on the forums and you have argued your case. I do know that all posts are regularly moderated by the AAT and that improper posts will be removed and the originators contacted by the AAT. The off topic forum is no exception to this.
Toadface I know you and Robert do not get on but publicly humiliating people is not the way to deal with the issue. It would seem more appropriate for you both just to avoid eachother as there are no winners in the long running dispute you both have.
The forums are here as a tool to help others with their studies, for members to ask advice and for others to join in and have a chat/laugh about the more light-hearted side of life (I'm sure you will agree accountancy and tax can get somewhat boring at times)! The off topic forum was created in recognition of this.
So, let's call a truce, have a laugh, help eachother out and try and get on with eachother. It would be a shame to lose posters as a result of personality clashes or misunderstandings.
Life's too short to fall out.
Best regards

Re:Study Buddy
Thanks for spoiling this for those that were enjoying it.
It would have been a better idea to create your own thread, rather than taint this one.

Re:Study Buddy
oh i spot trouble on the study buddy thread once again????
so anyhow wot ave i missed while i have been away is there anything to report?0 -
Re:Study Buddy
Yes - tempers are being lost once more.
But something of much greater importance, a quick re-cap of the Study Buddies for you.
Steve continues to be waxed regularly. Unfortunately he is beginning to enjoy it, so we need to think of something else...
Paul is trying to run and give up cigarettes...
Jamie is, at this moment, pounding the streets in search of a finish line for the Greath North Run - keep going J - I'm waiting for you!
The others are all out there behaving themselves - most of the time!
Hope you're new job is going well?

I'm gunna go show him the monkeys
Ooh ooh ooh! In Trentham in stoke-o-trent they have a monkey forest, where the monkeys are literally running around, they're not really enclosed, a fence that is about a foot high that they just go under/over anyway is all!
Ooh go there
I'm so excited, I want to go

Re:Study Buddy
Can I come too?
I promise to behave, J - honest!0 -
Re:Study Buddy
Of course - i'l'l meet you there, just make sure you're not a little monkey and you have a whale of a time :P0 -
Re:Study Buddy
Change of plans.
I've got my number for next Sunday. I'm orange 1076. Cost me a fortune on Ebay.
But worth every penny...
