Hi,
I want to do a late exam entry for PCR and PEV. Does anyone know how much this will cost me? How much does each exam cost and also how much will I have to pay as a late entry fee?
I am really panicking about this.
Yours,
Jayne

Re:Late Exam Entry
No information on late entry fees but I know from seeing past penalty charges that they are hideously expensive so entering for two is going to leave a doubly large hole!
The information below was taken after logging into MyAAT;
Contact AAT Student Services on:
Tel: +44 (0)20 7415 7644
Fax: +44 (0)20 7415 7669
E-mail: examqueries@aat.org.uk
EDIT; found this after searching Google which is for last year but useful as a rough guide. You're probably looking at a total of around £150 per exam paper!

Actually, having read it properly, I'm not even sure you can even enter at all since it's so late, so you'll definitely need to ring Student Services to find out.

Re:Late Exam Entry
Thanks Blobby H. It is the £38 for each exam plus a one off £160 so that is a total of £236 which I still have not paid. :oops:0 -
Re:Late Exam Entry
Well, I suppose you could almost see it as a kind of bargain that there's only one administration fee rather than two but coming under the recent spotlight of questionable administrative fees from other organisations i.e. banks or credit card charges, it does make you wonder how such an exhorbitant charge can be justified?
The cost of printing another exam paper?
The price of an extra seat at the venue?
The cost of ten or twenty minutes extra time for the marker?
No, because all of those would have already been included in the original exam entry price anyway and thus completely separate from the penalty charge. Can it really just be the administrative cost of someone adding your name to the bottom of a list? How long does that take?
So although you'll have to pay it, I also think you're entitled to ask what it's for since it sounds like just another punitive revenue earner for me!
Let's see how open the AAT really are!
