Hi
I know it is late notice but I have my ECR sim tomorrow and I was wondering if anyone could give me tips on what best to revise?? I have been looking at stuff but didn't do too well in the ECR so I am now doubting myself!!

I've done the sim 2 weeks ago.
Stock valuation (Stock Record Card)
Transfer direct cost to job card & weekly timesheet
Marginal Costing ( BEP, Margin of Safety, PV Ratio )
Limiting Factor
Net Present Value
Allocation,apportionment, re-apportionment ( step down method & direct method )
OAR ( machine and labour )
Over / under absorption
Journal entries for under/over absorption
Memo
Question and answer

Hi, you're really on the case! Could you help with one particular question....'Calculate the % increase in direct labour cost before B/E point is reached for sales of 25 benches. Answer question as a percentage' Any ideas? :?0 -

% increase in di direct labour ?
That's the question in my sim. I'll give you the formula 'cause I forgot the figure, but I remembered the answer is 61.15% ( 61 % ).
So,...
forecast profit of 25 benches : expected output( that means 25 ) = XXX
then, XXX : direct labour/unit x 100 = XXX%
