    I'm probably too late with my request :oops: , but i thought i should try anyway.
    I'm doing PPL study too, and i'm finding it really difficult to come up with a lot of sentences. :(

    Im doing the case study on PPL Ltd as well, to me the payroll is the weakest section so have decided to focus on that. im currently at the recommendations stage.

    if its not to late any tips would be gratefully appreciated

    i have identifed weaknesses across every section and throughout the business and suggested how to put them right, not focused on one section such as payroll, is this the requirement to focus on one area?

    Don't think you need to do recommendations for all areas, but check with your college. I concentrated on one system and it was ok according to my tutor.

    Theres loads of tips in auditing books on internal controls, which helped me produce plenty of recommendations for improvements.

    Ignore that. I did do weaknesses for all of the systems and recommendations just for one.

    Yes, I'd agree its been really useful to see how other students are tackling Unit 10. Wish I'd used the forum for Foundation and Intermediate levels too.
    The best bit though is sharing advice that might help someone else.

    I've nearly finished my project but am just stuck on the implementation part - seeing as we can't really implement our recommendations, how are we supposed to complete this part and meet the performance criteria??

    i explained all the practical considerations involved in rescheduling the work of the dept. eg. training methods i'd use. used some performance indicators for the fraud part then said how i would monitor them.

    my tutor then arranged some written and oral "implementation questions" as supporting evidence.
