Bizarre things on E-Bay... a new challenge!

... Sunday morning, kids out at the park, feeling very bored etc!
So going completely off track, I was browsing E-Bay for diamond rings - don't ask! - and happened across this;
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/White-Gold-Ring-Princess-cut-Diamond-band_W0QQitemZ250119118769QQihZ015QQcategoryZ67726QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
So when we're all busy feeling sorry for ourselves, let's spare a thought for the poor sod who happily (well, for him anyway) gave this to 'Tracy' not knowing that it would soon end up on E-Bay cruelly described as an unwanted gift.
I think we should have a new challenge for finding other bizzare items on E-Bay so post your links here. If they're good and cheap I might even make a bid plus if I'm stupid or unfortunate enough to end up winning it, I might even make it my new avatar!
Robert

Apparently (according to the description) it comes with a chuckle box - shake it and you can hear Mr Blobbyh laughing.

Obviously not like me then...Baggybooks wrote:shake it and you can hear Mr Blobbyh laughing
This could be useful for saving me dipping my fingers in scalding hot liquid when making my morning cuppa;

What's wrong with just using a spoon?!!
And how about this? Is this where the 'droid' administrators retreat to when we complain about the Forums?

Re:Bizarre things on E-Bay... a new challenge!
LOL!
Come on, the 'Daft tart' photo frame is okay but I'm sure you can do better than that Helen?
I did like the bad taste "novelty" inhaler Paul - I'm sure asthmatics everywhere have been eagerly looking for just such a thing. Maybe we can also find a pair of black glasses with eyes on springs for blind people while we're at it.
But the best so far has to be that horrendous blue pottery chicken... sheer class. NOT!!!
Here's this for our honoured chartered friend Steve; http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SCALEXTRIC-SCX-PEUGEOT-406-1-32-SLOT-CAR-BNIB_W0QQitemZ260120385814QQihZ016QQcategoryZ4782QQcmdZViewItem
How about a Scalectric Skoda? Probably faster than a real life full sized one;

How about this little beauty:

A real car for only 99 pence?! I'd hate to see what the seller calls a major accident.0 -

I've placed my bid already but you'll have to let me know how to forward it on to you when it arrives Helen....Baggybooks wrote:0 -

Another unwanted gift.
Tracy's story...
Maybe she received the ring in the post on Valentine's day...The sender was knocked over by a big red bus and was killed...Tracy never heard from him, so decided to sell the ring...0 -
Re:Bizarre things on E-Bay... a new challenge!
Possible Helen, possible, especially seeing as we males know how temporamental (with more emphasis on the mental) you females can be if you don't hear from us every five minutes. Poor sod's going cold down the morgue getting his Y done and she's already deleted his number from her mobile and got the ring up on E-Bay.
Personally, I reckon he turned up in these on their first big night together;

I have to say that advertising your own stuff is cheating and very low Helen!
However two can play that game, so watch this space...!

BEST LAUGH EVER!
Are we about to get thrown off Ebay too?0 -
Re:Bizarre things on E-Bay... a new challenge!
I wouldn't have thought so though I did get temporarily suspended a couple of years ago after mischievously bidding ΓΒ£10m for a Live 8 ticket! I was one of those and still have the screen grab somewhere to prove it!

Re:Bizarre things on E-Bay... a new challenge!
I especially liked the not very subtle way the second seller put "No longer needed". Nice. Going by her name though, I think she's been at the vodka too much since although I'm no diamond expert, even I know that that diamond isn't 18 carats big and she's probably left a decimal point out of there!
Look at the price of this just over 10 carat beauty. A snip at ΓΒ£135,000!!!

Well, I'm a male - that's my excuse! Flipping obvious now I read it again - told you I was no expert...

Like the way it says "Guaranteed to get a yes" - of course if you can sell it on ebay later. Who on earth pays out ΓΒ£135k on ebay.
And Robert I notice you are evading the Q, why were you looking?????0 -
