Re:Study Buddy
I agree with Robert and Mandy. As they have said everything I would have said, I feel no need to add anything.

Re:Study Buddy
Morning Farmer...
Bit quiet on here this morning but then I suppose it is a faux Sunday. Apart from Chris being online as usual and once the sheep awaken later even he might be off...
Think I'll take the kids to the seafront market if it ever stops raining. See how much I can get for 'em, you know.0 -
Re:Study Buddy
Morning Robert & FG,
I am doing the usual morning stuff then getting down and dirty with a DFS practice exam this afternoon. Robert, whilst at the market, can you see how much you can get for a german shepherd that likes to bury bones in the garden and then come in after I've just washed the floors.... :roll:0 -
Re:Study Buddy
It's hardly stopped raining here since saturday.
Got me doors done yesterday and today have to rest up, totally k*******d.
House is nice and quiet. Eldest daughter stayed at her boyfriends and youngest daughter is at work. If it wasn't for the rain on the conservatory roof, you could hear a pin drop.
Seaside is 68 miles away so I won't be going for a walk on the front at sunny Cleethorpes.0 -

But that's the fun bit about owning a 'shepherd'. Be glad it's not snowing and she's coming in with piles of snow on her nose, like mine used to do

Re:Study Buddy
It has stopped raining here, I like sitting in the conservatory when it is raining, makes me want to go to sleep. Did a lot of DIY then FG, did you get it all done. I'm going to do some decorating after this exam. I need some doors hanging, could you come and do mine
No, my shepherd has also come in with a mount everest of mud on her nose, you are right, they are funny

Re:Study Buddy
Re-hung three doors and then fitted two new ones. They now need painting but I'm too K*******d after yesterday, not getting any younger, you know.0 -

Dunno about down the market but I did quickly find this on E-Bay that might come in useful for both your husband and your naughty doggie;
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Man-Trap-Bear-Trap-Gin-Trap_W0QQitemZ250119290869QQihZ015QQcategoryZ1207QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Kind of proves my long held viewpoint that the only thing you won't ever find on E-Bay are morals.

Re:Study Buddy
They may be funny but they are highly intelligent and very good company, plus they don't answer back

Re:Study Buddy
Oh don't know, mine has a vocabulary!!! We had to shorten the word "walk" to "w" as she twigged everytime we said it. She also sings to me, my hubby is astonished we actually communicate. I'm not sure about the gin trap Robert, it may break the bottles :shock:0 -
Re:Study BuddyX5wrangler wrote:my hubby is astonished we actually communicate.
Is that because you're too busy rabbiting to us?
In our house, communication is either by grunts or, in the case of my daughters, by screaming

Re:Study Buddy
Well, I've got to talk to someone! As much as I love my dog, she can switch off from the conversation and just go to sleep. As far as the hubby goes, well you know where he is.0 -

I suppose he is the same, just switch off and go to sleep, bit like "she who must be obeyed".0 -
Re:Study Buddy
Helen must be having a lie in today, not a peep out of her,yet :P0 -
Re:Study Buddy
If you remember, Helen showed a  for today. Suppose she will share it with us later?

Re:Study Buddy
Don't suppose we'll get the "nitty-gritty" on open forum, she'll tell you in PM. It'll be "girly" talk.

Re:Study Buddy
OK, girly talk it will be then
What a horrible day. I really don't know what to do with myself. I'm going to study but it feels damp and cold :? How bizarre is that. We were basking in the high 20's not long ago. I know, I've drunk all the wine, so next best thing - CHOCOLATE!!!!

Re:Study Buddy
Surely today should be a day for retail therapy. Why don't you get off down the nearest shopping mall?
Studying on a Bank Holiday, Yuk. Helen doesn't even have the word in her vocabulary.
Wahey.....sunshine! 8) Best make the most of it for the next five minutes, until the rain comes back.

Re:Study Buddy
Don't do retail therapy, must be the only female in the world who doesn't!!! Like the avatar? this was me yesterday before the race - see I told you I was bored!!!0 -
Re:Study Buddy
You know, it takes less muscles to smile than it does to look miserable. Cheer up, chuck, not long 'till September. Then you'll have a smile on your face

Re:Study Buddy
Hey, I am smiling, I'm doing my mona lisa smile!!!!0 -
Re:Study Buddy
Can we have one of you after the race plus one of you when the dog came in. Like to see steam come out of peoples ears

Re:Study Buddy
Like the eyes, real concentration showing there, not a sign of the wine
0 -
Re:Study Buddy
I did say BEFORE the race, pre-wine. Ummm after the race, will have to remember that one, when a beamer wins then you will get an exclusive!! Don't do the steam coming out of ears either, no shopping, no angry - am I human let alone female!! Ah, I know. work - AAARRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!0 -
Re:Study Buddy
Boss text me saturday night at 11.15. Just arrived on hols at midnight, left home at 4 am to go to Heathrow. said it was "deleted" freezing when he landed. Only 35c in Dubai.0 -
Re:Study Buddy
I know somewhere else that is in the high 30's as well. We are going to the Bahrain GP next year as it will be the "home" GP!!!!

Re:Study Buddy
Don't let work get to you, it gives you a heart attack. Are there any good beamers in f1. I don't watch it, I'm afraid, it bores me. Now a good rugby match, that's different.
My missus doesn't do retail therapy, either. But she does do angry, she has a degree in that.

Re:Study Buddy
I went to Bahrain a couple of years ago for an hour!
Sounds daft I know, but we went to Goa and stopped in Bahrain to refuel. It has a nice airport.0 -
Re:Study Buddy
Bahrain for an hour eh? Is that a record? I though my day trip to Finland took some beating
