Re:Study Buddy
Appraisals always make me laugh. For 364 days of the year we complain about our jobs and what we would do to put it right if we were in charge then when we finally do get the chance to have our say we bottle it! I know there will be some who say "But I do..." but I still reckon most just say what the appraiser wants to hear!
Unless, of course you do choose to tell the truth having already decided your time there is coming to a close. When I was studying Foundation it came up in my appraisal and I stated that I couldn't see I'd ever use it there since there were no openings. Two months later I'm made redundant! Charming!

Re:Study Buddy
Morning all,
Helen, wish I had seen your appraisal of me first  thank you, it was brilliant. Well, I've completed it, I put "Whatever - dudes". Agree with you Robert, my appraisal isn't linked to pay or bonus but I do have my say during the year, I'm not a "yes man" and I believe (luckily) it has earned me some respect. I'm still here so.... either than or they don't listen
Piddling it down here, more like November than nearly June :shock:0 -
Re:Study Buddy

Re:Study Buddy
Aren't we quiet.
This morning it was bright blue skies out, so I put on a skirt. As soon as I got outside to get in the car it started piddling down, and it's been piddling down since and I didn't have a brolly

I'm OK. I'm annoyed that I got up at 6.15 so I had time to straighten my hair, now I'm just a big ball of frizz.0 -

Re:Study Buddy
Hi, Frizzball, wish I had that problem, not much left of the old thatch these days. I get up and have a polish and shine

Re:Study BuddyGem7321 wrote:Conversation killed - sorry
Its not that it kills the conversation, it's just that most people , including me, don't know what to say. It's not really a time to be flippant but with a lot of us that's the way we deal with it.
As I said above, we can only wish you a successful operation and we will be here to support you in any way we can.
