Can anyone help with Business Tax - I have been doing past papers and the practise papers in the osborne books but I am finding it awful, i cant remember how to do anything and when the question says chargeable gains i freeze and cant remember what it is they want, does anyone have any help regarding this as i know i will fail this one and i wont be able to finish the course this year, i really didnt want to be resiting in December. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi

    I am the same, I seem to know how to do the calculations but I can never remember where to start or how to set it out and find myself looking at the answers to give me a push in right direction. I thought BTC was my worst subject but I am now finding PTC more difficult there are just so many things to remember and I have DFSL exam to do aswell its a nightmare, and I really dont wana have to resit in december either I am totally fed up with it all now I cant wait for next week to be over!!

    Tax is essentially a load of strict rules - i'm affaird to say there are no short-cuts.

    It's a hard slog but you must go over and over everything.

    You either know it or your don't!
