IAS definitions

hi there,

i dont suppose anyone out there has a list of IAS's and their definitions in a simple one sentence form.

i can remember all the numbers and their titles, and can come up with some sketchy definitions of a few of them, but really having trouble remembering them all as the text books/class notes seem to waffle on for ages and i just lose the basic element of what they really are, therefore in an exam question like "define accounting standard no.x and the accounting treatment of ....." i will be hopeless

getting real close now, and still so much to absorb!!!

    In the DFS support booklet, there is a website the AAT have recommended to have a look at giving a good overview of the contents of the standards. It is www.iasplus.com. If you click on the "Standards" tab at the top, then scroll down, you can click on each of them, it's quite detailed but it gives an objective. not sure if this will help, but it might be worth a go!
