    I know my way round town. Used to live around here. I know the sites to see, the things they mean to me, and how we tore it down. Let me walk with you cos it's breaking my heart. The things that we had, the good and the bad - now it's parking lots.

    Morning

    Just to let you know i got to work safely, but due to flooding internet not been working for the past couple of days!

    Took 1 hour 45 mins to do a 4 mile trip on Tuesday. Ironically the sun is shining this morning,as though we haven't had any bad weather. Still quite a few of the roads are closed here.

    How are things at your end Farmer G, I have heard that Meadowhall is still closed, so at least you won't have to go shopping, well that's if we are not flooded in again this weekend.

    How are things for you Rae, did you get home OK

    Hi Everyone, nice sunny morning this morning, just right for putting my kilt on upside down and shouting"how's that for a shuttlecock" boom boom.

    Sun, no rain, yet. It is promised so I suppose this is the lull before the next storm.
    Things are clearing up nicely, Charlie, thanks for asking. Just worried about Rae, now.

    Hey guys! Morrisons is open again today as it wasnt too badly affected, although the river running right next to it has completely covered the path at both sides and parts of the car park, ASDA is still closed as it was completely flooded and couldnt get any deliveries. Loads of houses have been flooded, especially near the park shops were all closed, although the pubs stayed open lol! No sign of water getting into the town centre yet though, but if it rains tonight like it said then im guessin it will!
