Re:Summer
How about you all come down to oxfordshire and enjoy a cold pub and a warm beer?
We still have local watering holes that provide this special service....0 -
Re:Summer
Can i just ask, i know it has been a while since anyone posted on here but has anyone actually had this beer garden weather we all went on about?0 -

Re:Summer
Definitely not here in Yorkshire :shock:0 -
Re:Summer
I was reading in the paper that we're going to have this rain and crap all summer
I'm gonna book a holiday in August just to get some sunshine!0 -
Re:Summer
Summer came in April. We have obviously forgotten that! We had about 5 weeks of nice weather.
Anyone remember the band "Bomb the Bass", they were right when they sung about "Winter in July" :roll:0 -
Re:Summer
I've been telling everyone that too! I swear summer was in april/may and we've missed it!0 -
Re:Summer
Dear all
Please remember as we have now had a new administration put in place at No 10, all thoughts of summer are to be put behind you. There is a lot of work to be done to streamline this country and bring us back into profit. Venture capitalist don't just make money by buying and selling companies.
Remember last summer was too warm and hopefully all this rain will assist global cooling. Nothing like sitting outside on a winter's day at the cafe with a large bowl of porridge oats and hot steaming cup of cocoa. Bring on the winter! (Aargh!)
Glad I'm not doing my former job in this weather!!!0 -
Re:Summer
Oh yes, I do that all the time. Drag the kids out for a brisk winters walk at seven in the morning and minus degrees outside just to mosey on down to the local seafront cafe and order big bowls of porridge all round. Or maybe not.
Do I look like fricking Goldilocks?
jps - you are a loon but you have come to the right place!0
