Idiotic Excel

I'm using Excel 2002 but for some bizarre reason I have previously hidden rows that now won't unhide themselves so they can be edited. I've turned off all password and cell protections but still they don't show themselves!
Any ideas anyone?

Have you highlighted the rows either side of the hidden ones?0 -
Re:Idiotic Excel
Grrrrrrrrrrr......... figured it out now, I had an active damn filter switched on! Duh!
Why couldn't they have made the small filter triangle a contrasting colour such as yellow or something instead of navy that almost looks like black on TFT screens?!0 -

Robert, since you are now an expert.....can tell me know how to remove a password on excel? Decided it doesn't need pw protection and I just can't think how to do it??

Re:Idiotic Excel
Save as, general tools and omit it - I think...?0 -
Re:Idiotic Excel
Go to the Tools menu Tools menu and then Protection, there'll be unprotect options there0 -

Thanks Chris - obvious when you know how!0 -
Re:Idiotic Excel
Hellen was correct for preventing and/or adding/removing restricted access (read only) when opening a sheet whereas Chris told you how to prevent cell or sheet modification once it's open.
Of course, you need to make sure you have the passwords first!0 -
