Clifford Alarms

Does anyone have a Clifford alarm or know anyone who does? I'm in big trouble with the one on hubbies car, it is the real noisy thing and I need some help. Or does anyone know if Clifford have engineers or anything, getting a bit desperate :?

    Hi Charlotte,

    the battery went flat as I didn't drive the car. I then charged it up but as soon as I stick the key in the ignition the alarm goes off and I get no ignition lights, so there is no way it will start, the engine doesn't even turn over. I don't know if there is a way to reset or has the immobilisor kicked in. The alarm wouldn't stop even using the key pad, so unfortunately I disconnected the battery. Not a good idea :? but I didn't want to be hung, drawn and quartered by the neigbours.

    Hi Mandy

    I will speak to my sister and tell her what has happened and get back to you. Everything that could have gone wrong with her alarm has done so I'm sure she (or her husband)will help!

    It will probably be tomorrow as I can't get hold of her tonight.

    Same thing happened to my bother a while ago while he has here on holiday in a borrowed car. Fortunately the car had the manual in the glove compartment so we found out how to reset it.

    None of this helps you Mandy but at least you know you've not the only one this ever happened to

    Hi Mandy

    I have explained what has happened to my sisters husband and he says It sounds like it has gone into valet mode.If she had the alarm fitted it would be guaranteed for life.It would depend on which system is fitted as well

    If you can find out what she has fitted I could probably talk her through it.

    OK, that sounds interesting! I will hunt out any paper work we have or go around the car gathering data. Thanks for your help Charlotte, much appreciated. :lol:
