Re:Gutted!!
Don't be so hard on yourself. Remember in general the simulations are more difficult than the exams, so it doesn't mean you have done bad on the exam! I am sure you will have done fine

Re:Gutted!!
Please be positive, sims are resittable quite quickly whereas exams are twice per year. There is more leeway in exams too, so you may have passed

Re:Gutted!!
yeah i find the simulations so hard, i actually dread them more than the exam!
why cant you move on to tech without passing your sim?
I am intermediate and only just fininshed my foundation sims this week..0 -
Re:Gutted!!
Hi there
I can tell you that from my experience so far the simulations have been far worse than the central assessments so don't beat yourself up about it. If you only fail the simulation that means a hell of a lot of pressure is off you come next sitting. That's my opinion and also tahat of a fellow student who failed the simualtions last year and passed the central. Keep going for it you will only benefit from it all! Good Luck!0 -
Re:Gutted!!
Aw thanks for all your comments! I will keep doing it and will eventually pass!!
i cant go onto tech until everything at intermediate is complete, i think thats just how the college works! :?0 -
Re:Gutted!!
Good luck.
With two months to do the revision over the Summer you should have no trouble passing. :P
I found the exams easier than the simulations so hopefully you will have passed it. Don't worry if you haven't you can always resit in December. Thats six months of revision!
Talk to course provider personally about starting Technician in September, and do the Cost skills test early September (or earlier) as well? Why do you have to re-take the whole unit? If it was only one or two parts that you failed on, see if they will allow you to do 'extra work questions' on those areas to show your compantency and put in your folio with the skills test paper.0
