Re:Study Buddy
Morning, Good Buddies, Lovely day. Only downside is having to go back to work after a week off.

Bit grey here, and rain for later...!

Re:Study Buddy
Morning all,
I'm back in work for a rest. Decorated the bedroom over saturday and Sunday and I'm glad it's over.

Re:Study BuddyCJC wrote:Well actually it was an extra 768kB as I had to take out one of the existing cards - so I'm up to 1.21GB. Pretty impressive performance gain even running photoshop, p2p stuff and firefox - not that I'd run that lot together as a matter of course but I wanted to push things a bit.
Well, I thought it was quite interesting, though if Chris only had just over 768kb of RAM in his computer, no wonder it was running slow. I think he meant megabytes or are we back on to the damned kilo subject again?Baggybooks wrote:Yawn
Mine has 1024mb RAM by the way but it never seems sufficient to load the AAT Forum pages fast enough...0 -

Re:Study Buddy
All I know about my computer is that it keeps coming up with a blue screen full of bumpf and I have to turn it off! It's corrupt somewhere and I've run virus checkers etc but can't find the problem. Not sure if it's connected but it only started happening when my stepson put MSN messenger on. :evil:0 -
Re:Study Buddy
I kept getting that here and had a new memory card installed which solved it.
No Gem - can't see it.

I had the same problem, my internet kept cutting off, my Task Manager had been disabled (even though i hadnt touched it), my computer was really slow, i phoned the company i purhcased it from and had to restore it to default
I lost EVERYTHING, luckily i backed up all my photos and things before hand0 -

Re:Study Buddy
No :P it's a different internet thing, rather than internet explorer, I'll have mozilla firefox. Ask Rob he can probably explain better than me :P0 -
Re:Study Buddy
Ouch, lets hope you dont have to restore that then, try phoning PC world or Comet, or any other respectable computer company and see what they suggest, but i would have thought you needed to restore it :S0 -
Re:Study Buddy
Nope, just download it. But I can only dl it if I can get IE to work :evil:0
