I agree you shouldn't have a child in the hope that it will save your relationship. It probably won't. And then you screw the kid up in the mean time.

Never consider marrying a man until you have lived with him when he has a cold.

It will reveal more about his true nature than anything else.

Edit: and watched him eat a packet of crisps. Saw this bloke the other night and thought...OK...then he started attacking a packet.

    Am I too picky?

Really Gem? Wow I am amazed when I look back to when we had been together a year, and how much we have learned about life, and our own relationship since then. And I know we will still be learning for many years. But a year is such a short time. I think you need to go through more situations than an average year provides, before you really know someone.

See I think I learnt everything I needed to know about Ben in the first 1-2 years, and he was the same for me. We were arguing constantly, we had baby scares etc etc how many more situations do you need?

I don't know about other blokes but I'm personally made of Mansfield iron - when I'm ill, I really am ill - I wouldn't make a fuss otherwise. We only make a fuss to try and even it up with you females!

Now - you women never hesitate to let us know when it's that time of the month, how bad childbirth is, boyfriend or husband problems, when they've got a headache, seen a spider, woodlouse etc... zzzzzzzzzzzzz!

When I was an inch away from dropping into a coma I complained about twice about how much pain I was in :P and even then Ben shouted at me and wouldn't take me to the doctors :P

Heres a question for the blokes to laugh about, and the women to clear up.

Where is PMT in the first 6 months of a relationship? Its funny how it never rears its head in the all important 'impressing period' Excuse the pun.

I don't think I've ever mentioned 'that time of the month', boyfriend, or bloke problems.

    I may be wrong.

    But I don't think so.

It's probably in the same place you find the toilet seat fairy.

Do you ever hear a bloke complain that he has to lift the toilet seat up when you leave it down. That is the most pointless argument ever, I never understand that one, how hard is it to lift a toilet seat. You usually tamper with anything else we put down, or leave lying around

I don't think anyone else is really interested in it, so I keep things like to myself.

    But for your diaries....

My lids close automatically. Just need to tap them and they close slowly and silently. No rows, no problem, no man.

Im talking about 'hollywood relationships' Dan, when people get married before they have even each shared a birthday with each other. People just seem to want things to happen so quickly nowadays and I dont understand why. What is the point in marrying someone, when you know that you cant possibly know them that well.

Edit.. Also a lot of other things stop after a fairly short period of time lol

I'd go further and say that I'm not interested either.

I don't want to think of anyone being in pain, but I just don't need to share it.
