Re:Study Buddy
On a serious note, it is hard when your mrs's mom have just got through breast cancer at 48, when you know that your mrs's nan died at the same age with the same illness. So it does affect the men in as much as when your in a relationship your partners worries are as hard to cope with as your own.0 -

The check-ups are fine it's when they have to start digging things out you need to worry.
Yeah, like some of the important bits that then stop you having children then having to listen to someone go on incesently about having babies.
Know what you mean Paul, cancer is a nasty illness.0 -

Re:Study Buddy
Not been tested for lumps.. but I get routinely checked over once a year as part of my diabetic care. Feet and eyes get done too.
Since I've had diabetes I'm pretty good about going to the docs... before that I'd probably been twice in 20 years.0 -

Re:Study Buddy
It certainly is Helen. You really do have to make the most of things.
Im a big fan of John Lennons quote.
"Life is what happens when you're making other plans"
Its a good one to keep in mind, so you dont miss the things that you should be aware of.0 -
Re:Study Buddy

Re:Study Buddy
Every bloke should check, its very important. I find it hard not to become to obsessed with worrying about checking your health. Ive spoke to a lot of people though who went through a 'morbid' stage in their early twenties.0 -
Re:Study Buddy

Check while you can!
Worse thing when you have had a problem, is you stop looking - you're too scared to find anything else.0 -
