Re:Study Buddy
My last word on this is to Anna Hillier. If the "Study Buddy" thread is so offensive and we have all been told it is as a minortity think so, then I ask you to remove it completely from this forum. You surely can't leave it here if it is offensive!!!! Are you loathe to remove it because it is probably one of the most subscribed threads on this site or even the internet? You can't have it both ways. If you leave it for people to view, then I will question what the fuss was all about.

Re:Study Buddy
Yes - remove our comments and the Study Buddy thread. I agree with Mandy's comments.
I would also add that far from causing offence, or dragging the AAT into some kind of mire - over the past couple of years, we have actually helped raise its profile in a postiive way.
We have both been featured in the AAT magazine as spokespersons that are apparently successful, articulate individuals. We have won AAT competitions, had letters published in the magazine and even been featured on your own website. We support branch meetings too. In fact - you could say we have been excellent supporters of all things AAT.
It's a pity that others don't do the same. Just looking for problems and something to moan about isn't clever and it isn't constructive.0 -
Re:Study Buddy
If you can't have a sense of humour on here, then yes - they should delete this thread and close the off-topic forum entirely. If we can't see what you've done wrong, how can others be certain of avoiding it?
I thought the administrators read this stuff? How come they didn't find it offensive and contact you before the one that complained? Why does one or two peoples opinion count more than the majority that like this?0 -
Re:Study Buddy

lol0 -
Re:Study Buddy
Hey Yeah! Just re-read it and that is exactly how Joey would say it

Re:Study Buddy
He'd only have to say it to me once!
"how you doing Sara?"
Joey - not Richard!0 -
Re:Study Buddy
and what would it do to you, Richard saying it once? 0 -
Re:Study Buddy
LOL! You've seen the pictures. Richard's got a bigger ego than Joey!**waits for ticking off from Richard**0 -
Re:Study Buddy
I did see the pictures! No!! joey thought he was a hit with the ladies, (understandable, give him that), so do we have a forum "friends". Who is Ross, Chandler, Monica, Rachel and Pheobe????0 -
Re:Study Buddy
I think it so sad that some people have been forced off the forum because of having a cracking sense of humour. Accountants have a bad enough reputation for being boring - the forum just addressed the fact.
Without laughter the world is a boring place, so I would ask that the person who complained to look at this forum in context. This is a brilliant forum and the people on it bring and share joy and give huge laughs after a bad day at work.
Please remember inuendo is what you see in it.

And me an email! Sorry Mandy and Sara. New job is fab and I love the extra power - and money!
Things seem to be ticking-over on here without some of the old gang, but I keep an eye on things when I reply to the PMs.
Well done to Mandy for her results - Sara: Get on with it!
