Menbership at long last

I passed all my technician exams etc in Feb and applied for membership but there were a few problems with this in the begining. As I have still heard nothing I took the bull by the horns this lunch and did the old fashioned thing of ringing the membership dept and they told me that my membership was approved on 22/06/07 which surprised both me and the chap I spoke to as that is today. So at long last I can use MAAT and show off my professional qualification.

just wanted to tell people who would understand how I felt at this achievement

    Congratulations Jackie.

    Are you going to apply for the MIP licence as well?

    Good luck with whatever you decide to do with your hard earned qualification.

    I'm not sure how to go about that but I would like to do some freelance work as I work full time. Where would I find info regarding this

    Well done, how strange to be the day you decided to ring!
    I qualified on my birthday!
    I am now waiting for those prospective employers to snap me up!
