Hi Everyone,
I have just finished my Foundation year, anxiously awaiting the results!
I thought I would come to the forum in search of people in a similar situation that could help me out next year... and I will try and help you guys out in return if I can!
Anyway if anyone in the Wiltshire area feels the same way it might be nice to try and sort out occassional study meets... just an idea
I am studying at Swindon College and would be interested to know anyone else who is studying around that area.
Thanks
Lauren

Re:Wiltshire Study Buddy
Hello Lauren,
I'm neither at Foundation/Intermediate level or in the Swindon area, but I'm sure there are still a few of us left around on the Forums who will lend a virtual hand if or when you need help!
Good luck with your exam results next month!
Best regards,

Lol, well that would be much appreciated! I'm looking forward to next year... hopefully by the end of it I may have some idea of what my boss is talking about!
Have you done the intermediate level? How is it?0 -
Re:Wiltshire Study Buddy
I finished Intermediate last year and now only have PEV/PCR to complete Technician.
I personally think the step from Foundation to Intermediate is greater than from Intermediate to Technician since you study two more subjects than on Foundation - some of which may be completely alien to you i.e. costings - and the difficulty level also rises sharply. In six months time you'll wonder how you ever struggled at Foundation and sadly realise things will never be that easy again!

Well that's encouraging! I suppose no pain no gain though, luckily I have a really supportive boss who has been through it all... and hopefully lots of kind virtual help on hand too!
Still looking forward to it!

... and so you should.lozzabubble5 wrote:Still looking forward to it!
I think Intermediate is when things start getting challenging and "sorts the men from the boys". You need to be more focussed in your studies and more disciplined in the time you allocate to them.
However, on the upside, it becomes more stimulating and rewarding, and although it'll probably make the qualified/certified CIMA's and ACCA's wince, it'll also really start boosting those CV credentials and your employability factor.
Regards,
Robert
