Writing off accrued expenses in current year

I have accrued accountancy charges in my client's books for the last 2 years and have now been instructed that, due to losses being realised in each of those years, the accountant is not going to make a charge. He instructed me to write off this credit figure under accountancy in the current year but how is this done?

Any ideas?

    Dr: Accrued expenses on balance sheet
    Cr: Accountancy in the profit & loss
