Hi,
I am thinking about undertaking my final year AAT via distance learning. I have looked at various home study courses but am not sure which to opt for. My short list at the moment is Premier Training, Eagle, and BPP.
Has anyone got any recommendations??? They all sound good on paper but would like a bit of feedback from people who have used them.

Re:Advice on distance learning
I used Premier. Intermediate was great with them but then my tutor left and I really struggled with her replacement.
It doesn't matter how good the firm looks, distance learning does rely a little on relationships with the student and tutor.
I just ended up with the impression that I was just a number. She didn't seem to know what I'd studied in the past, what my employment was and what I wanted to achieve long-term.
Good luck with your choice.0 -

Have you looked at FTC Kaplan?
I've studied Foundation and Intermediate through them and have found their books very focused and clear. Did have a problem with errors in the books at Intermediate but have been assured this has been corrected across all levels now.
I tend to study in the evening and email any queires I have to them. The staff are very friendly and reply very promptly. Worth checking out. I'm about to start Technician with them.0 -

Hi
I have done home study with FTC for foundation, intermediate and have continued with them for technician. Have not had any problems with them and the books are easy to follow.
You do need to have a lot of 'drive' to study at home though.0 -

I would highly recommend Premier Training. I have studied with them throughout Foundation, Intermediate and now Technician level and they have been very good and helpful

I have used Premier and FTC and they are both about the same although FTC was very slow at helping me with anything I didn't understand and they also charge a fee if you do not stick to their exam timetable.

Hi,
I've studied with eagle. I've always got on with my tutors and they have always given feedback on work and assessments in about 2 weeks. The best thing is though because the resources are so good I don't have to ask for help much. They use their own, written by the tutors as well as giving you books. So you are not dependent on books alone.
