Hi everyone,
I am new to the forum, the only experience I have of using it is on the books forum and thats broken.
I would like to tell you about myself. I am a distance learning student and because of accounts experience I have been able to start at intermediate level. I took and passed the FRA exam in June and I have done the working with computers and health and safety units.
I am due to do the FRA skills test and I am rather worried about it.
Please could anyone who has done it give me some advice. eg. Did you read through it before you started it? I keep thinking I will do it in pencil and then when I speak to the tutors they say I won't have time to do that. I am really worried about making mistakes on the paper and it looking a real mess. Please let me know which topics it covers and how you when about it. Also did you know that you had to be up to a certain point on the paper at a certain time, if so please let me know how you planned it.
Please help!
All the best to everyone.
Marg

Re:Please help with FRA skills test
Hello
First, buy an erasable pen. (I got mine from Tesco)
The skills test will probably be very similar to the ones in the Osborne FRA book so if you practice doing those you should be fine.
Complete an asset register, complete journal entries, post journal entries to ledger, control account reconcilliation, extended trial balance, partnerships.
Pretty much what was in the exam but in a bit more depth.
Hope this helps.

HiTommo
Thanks very much for your reply, I really do appreciate it. I am very keen on the erasable pen and will be going to Tesco's tomorrow to buy one.
Thanks again
Kind regards
