Can anyone help me with Professional Cover. I am about to sign up as a MiP and I don't know anyone who can be my professional cover. I am based in Seaton, Devon. My e-mail address is wayne.cook@itfigures.gb.com

    Sorry I can't help (I live in Norfolk!) but seeing where you come from - my gran used to live in Colyford - and we have always referred to Seaton as a cemetary with traffic lights :wink::wink:

    Don't make the same mistake I did years ago with "I am a little old lady living on my pension" and doing her tax return for free - little old ladies living on their pensions don't do tax returns - only wealthy little old ladies sitting on a fortune :lol:

    Hi Claudia,

    Thanks for the tip. I do not intend to do anyone's tax return for free, but I can see how "little old ladies living on a pension" could try it on so I will be on my guard.

    Hahaha, this has brightened up my morning. I just got mental images of little old ladies conning a young newly qualified accountant :-) Priceless.

    In my young and naive days, I felt sorry for her :roll: lesson quickly learnt and rectified the following year :lol:

    They are also the ones that tend to ask for a discount for cash - yeah right!!!
