Re:Mid- afternoon slump
I take you two won't have an opinion either way on the upcoming England V Estonia qualifier then?

England are forced to field a รขโฌหBรขโฌโข team in the upcoming qualifying match against Estonia.
Manager Steve Maclaren is however undeterred. His decision to become รขโฌหplayer managerรขโฌโข was apparently always on the drawing board and he welcomes the new challenge of kicking a ball instead of ass in the changing rooms.
With Owen, Beckham and Ferdinand all suspended due to the off-side fiasco last month, Maclaren needs all the help he can get.
Rumours of bringing back Ian Wright, Gary Lineker, Alan Shearer and Alan Hanson have been denied. Apparently Hanson was unhappy that his grannyรขโฌโขs affair with a Scouse sailor was being revealed (casting doubt on his Scottish roots). The BBC also decided that they did not have time to retrain a new team of pundits.

I take it you are referring to that other "game", played by overpaid ballerinas kicking a round ball?
I have no opinion because I don't like or watch the "game"!0 -

Huh , I was thinking something along the lines of 2-0.0 -
Re:Mid- afternoon slump
You see, that's the difference between girls and guys. You ask for an opinion and get it - but then move the goalposts.

Re:Mid- afternoon slump
FG, do you have an opinion on American football?0 -
Re:Mid- afternoon slump
Yep!
Scrap it and play a real mans game, Rugby! American pro footballers wouldn't last five minutes against an international rugby team and they admit it!0 -

Well, you watch your footy and I'll watch Katherine Jenkins sing at the start of the Welsh rugby matches. I mean, she's almost as lovely as you are :oops:0 -

Rugby, almost certainly. Football, it seems England with some 'star' players missing are gelling as a team.0 -
Re:Mid- afternoon slumptake you two won't have an opinion either way on the upcoming England V Estonia qualifier then?
The what?
No doubt my other half will have it on. Thank goodness for Sky plus! The only time I've taken an interest in football was when I won the sweep at work a couple of years ago - tell me was that Europenas and did Greece win
Now I can WATCH Rugby, but I fail to see the need to talk about it. And why do we have to have all that talk before and after a match on TV? One team will win one will loose - what more do we need to know?

How about from the front?
Polo crosse is obviously a real mans game. You get to whack each other with sticks

But you can do that in hockey, and you don't need a horse. I loved playing hockey when I was in the RAF, we normally played the local police teams. Fantastic, being able to beat the s**t out of a copper and not get nicked
