Do I need to take all units in one centre?

I'm doing distance learning at BPP and so far I've got unit 5, 6 and 32. I've been wondering however if it's absolutely necessary to order other units (which are 15 and 31) at BPP. Can't I just buy books and learn at home? Or is it required to do all units at an appointed centre? The centre number is required when registering for AAT membership, so that made me wonder. Has anybody taken exams/skill tests without being on a course?

Hi
You do not need to do all units at one particular centre.
You can certainly just buy the books and study that way, however you will then have to buy the skills tests seperately and you will not receive any tutorial guidance should you need it.
Here at BPP we charge £60 for the unit 15 skills test and £100 for the unit 31 skills test.
I hope this helps but if you need any further advice please feel free to contact my colleague Sadiya Khan on 020 8740 2266.
Thanks
