All have heard of the Indian businessperson or professional who has made it big in America, with his stable of swanky Mercedes cars in his multi-car garage in sprawling suburbia, whether in Princeton, New Jersey, New York, or Sunnyvale, California. With the Internet revolution spawning so many young Indian millionaires, you would have also heard that the Non-Resident Indian, now renamed Person of Indian Origin has earned widespread recognition among his peers at work, among his friends in the Indian community as also among his American neighbors. From a financial standpoint, after becoming naturalized citizens, PIOs would qualify for benefits that the state offers like MedicAid or MediCare, but, not having contributed to the SSA, they will have to depend largely on the largesse of the son or daughter or the extended family.
The biggest concern for PIOs is failing health and security of their parents. Kerala is one of the smallest states in India and a land of great natural beauty. The land blessed by nature, the land of festivals, and the land of coconut trees is also the land of complete literacy. With 44 rivers, many lakes, hills and mountains to add to its natural beauty it is known around the world as ‘God's own country’. Kochi, the major harbor city of Kerala is also the economic capital of the state. It is now the IT capital of the small Indian state.
NRI's, especially those looking to migrate back to India are investing in property, apartments, and real estate in Kerala. Many NRI and Global Indians are also actively investing in real estate in their 'home' countries.
THERE is a huge gold rush on in Kochi with everyone wanting a share of the ITES (IT enabled services) and BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) pie. The trend now is that a year or two into the new jobs, the young professionals begin to dream of settling down. This trend is a far cry from even a decade ago where the working class would squirrel away their savings hoping to buy a house after retirement. Builders and developers of different stripes have shifted gears to overdrive by trying to cater to this urge for a slice of the “Kochi-ite Indian Dreamâ€.
The increase in purchasing power and exposure to organized retail formats has redefined the consumption pattern. As a result, the state has experienced mushrooming of realty projects across the cities, especially Kochi. Real estate Kochi helps you to capitalize on the Kochi real estate boom. Realty firms offer transparent and credible real estate solutions.
