Hi

Is anyone else having problems with the HMRC Website today?

I've tried logging on to file my own Tax Return using HMRC own software. Each time I get to the point 'go back to Tax Return previously started' or 'File Tax Return' the website crashes.

All HMRC will say is they are not aware of any problems!!!

    HMRC are now admitting there is a problem when reviewing Tax Returns. According to their Service Issue page if you press F5 a few times it should work!!!

    Better than clearing the Temporary Internet Files and cookies which is what they told me to do!

    There can be a problem with cookies - there's a useful article on Accountingweb about this and other issues with the Jan 31st deadline - here's the link:

    And interestingly it goes on to say that HMRC will allow filing on Friday 1st Feb without penalty.
